The Cora Sue Smith From The Heart Scholarship Fund is a special recognition that honors the remarkable contributions and charitable work of our beloved Cora Sue. Cora Sue was a compassionate and giving individual who had a profound impact on the lives of countless students in our community.
Driven by her unwavering commitment to education and empowering young minds, Cora Sue sponsored Senior Year School Trips for students whose parents faced financial hardships. She believed that every student deserved the opportunity to experience the transformative power of educational experiences, regardless of their economic circumstances.
In addition to her support for school trips, Cora Sue also made it her mission to provide monetary gits to high school graduates, helping them embark on their next chapter with financial assistance. Her generosity touched the lives of many, fostering hope and enabling students to pursue their educational aspirations.
At Cora Sue Smith From The Heart, we believe that it's important to acknowledge and celebrate the impact Cora Sue had on our community. The Cora Sue Smith From The Heart Scholarship serves as a tribute to her selfless nature, unwavering commitment, and the positive influence she had on the lives of countless students.
This prestigious award celebrates remarkable individuals. Financial need is considered. However, all high school seniors or current college, university and vocational-school attendees who have lost a primary guardian to heart disease or diabetes, are encouraged to apply. Join us in assisting others in making their dreams of attending a college or university a reality. The main goal of the Cora Sue Smith scholarship committee is to honor the memory of Cora Sue and continue her extraordinary work. Finalists will be selected in May of each year.
